Privacy policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

This page explains what personal information this website collects, why, who handles it, and what you can ask of me about it. In short: the only personal information I collect is what you type into the questionnaire, and I use it only to reply to you about your website.

Who is responsible

digitalslatt, a web design business in Montréal, Québec. The person in charge of the protection of personal information is the owner of digitalslatt, reachable at digitalslattwebservices@gmail.com.

What I collect

Nothing else is collected about you.

Why

To read your answers and reply about your project, and to prepare a quote or proposal if you ask for one. Your information isn’t sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone for their own purposes.

Your consent

Sending the questionnaire means you agree to this use. The phone number and instructions are up to you. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to me; I’ll stop using your information and delete it, unless the law requires me to keep it.

Who else handles it

A few services help run the site. They only process information to provide their service to me:

These services may store or process information outside Québec, including in the United States.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site doesn’t use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or any technology that identifies, locates or profiles you. The only thing it keeps on your device is whether you paused the animations, so it remembers your choice next time; that setting stays in your browser and is never sent to me.

How long I keep it

Questionnaire answers are kept as long as needed to reply to you and, if we work together, for the length of the project. Otherwise they’re deleted within 12 months of our last exchange.

How it’s protected

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The form is protected against bots and abuse, and its settings and keys are kept outside the public website. Only I read the answers.

Your rights

Under Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, you can:

Write to digitalslattwebservices@gmail.com and I’ll answer within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with my answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Confidentiality incidents

If an incident involving your information ever presents a risk of serious harm, I’ll notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information, as the law requires.

Children

This site isn’t meant for children under 14, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
